Goa Part 1

It was planned by our gang of four, it has been in my bucket list since long. Finally, all bookkings and reservatioons are done and the day has come when we boarded in the train to Goa in month of Novmeber (as we all got leaves).

We started from Pune to Madgaon (Goa express) around 3.30 pm as it is the nearest station to Baga beach and our hotel is at Baga. I was travelling by train for first time and that too in sleeper class due t0 budget constraint. (I will write separately on my train travel experience.)

We
reached Madgaon around next day 6 am. As I am big time Tea lover, first thing I need is Tea. Luckily there was one Tea vendor with Ginger tea.We felt sp refreshed and proceeded further.

We had to do major task of taking bike/Activa on rent. We chose Activa as I wanted to ride on Goa roads amd started towards Baga with the help of Google Chachu.

Madgaon to Baga distance is around 50-55 Kms, we need to go via Panjim. It was around 1.5 hr journey. Roads were not crowded,so enjoyed that time.
One thing I loved from Goa,is traffic discipline and people were so polite, iff you follow rules.
We have booked normal hotel as our plsn was exploring North Goa completely and again budget. One plus point was our hotel was on walking distance from Baga beach.
We checked in hotel and stomach was saying that boss, do something for me too.
There was one puge veg restaurant outside our hotel. We had brunch there and started to explore.

Baga beach :
We went to Baga beach and believe me it was so awesome in the afternoon also. We spend sometime in water, photography and get tattoo done as you visited Goa and dont get tattoo that means you have not do anything in Goa.
I like the concept that just get relaxed in beach side chairs and a person from nearby restaurants comes to you and askinf for order. We didn't have anything as rates were so high there but we enjoyed a lot.
Baga beach is the most visited by people as it has discos nearby it. As our hotel near to beach, we kept going every evening on this beach by walking only. Really Goa night life can not be compared with anything else.
On first day, we spend some time on baga beach in afternoon and then headed to Fort Augoda. My perception was this is Dil Chahata hai fort but it was wrong, that is Chapora fort, which is totally opposite side.
when we were going to Augoda fort, there was lovely beach called Sequerium just 2 km before fort. What a view it was. I will write our detailed visit in next post. But sunset was a treat to eyes.
We reached to Augoda fort, need to park our vehicles outside and had to walk little for entrance of fort. It was  a huge space like ground with stone walls. We saw one light house. As it was around 6 pm so fort was getting closed. We had to rush but somehow we managed to click some photos and again what a view it was.
We returned to hotel, had a cup of tea as we haven't got Ginger tea anywhere and went to beach again to experience night life.
It was completely different from day time. Under the dark sky, disc light were getting flashed. Tables were arranged for candle light dinner on the sand under open sky. Music was also geeting played. It was like a heaven for party lovers.
We danced almost till midnight on the beach with florocent party bands. We ate something and returned to our hote. This was the big first day in Goa.
