Khandi Waterfall Trails

I think 4 is lucky number for me when I do tripping. I was planning to visit Khandi since long only but it was getting postponed because of various reasons.
on this Sunday, it could happen that I went to Khandi-Bendewadi waterfalls.

As we had some work on Saturday, we went to Khandi on Sunday. Yes, it was very hard on Monday to get ready for office.

We started by 8 am on Sunday. I have heard that Maval Bhel and Missal are very famous so we had  our first stop at Vadgaon Maval on old Pune Mumbai highway and I have read somewhere that Khandi is lonely place and we can hardly get anything there to eat. We had very high and heavy breakfast at Vadgaon. You can see in below photo.

We continued on old Pune Mumbai highway towards Lonavala till Kanhe village. Then we tool right turn from Kanhe phata. Roads are single but in goog condition till Takave village. There are multiple compnies so you can expect heavy viechles on the road.

Once you cross this Takave village, nature starts your welcome by greenery and waterfalls... Counting of those will not stop till Khandi village.
What a awesome view it was!! Really I don't have words to describe that beauty.

After sometime, we reached to Jagtap waterfall, there was a restaurant called Hotel Jagtap and the entry to that waterfall is thrugh that restaurant. That was too much crowded so decided to explore more.

After 10-15 min of driving, we saw one big multistep waterfall and we stopped there.
There are n number of places for photography. You dont have to set any frame, just click and it will be beautiful photo.

on this road,we got two companions. One is hills on left side and Backwater of Thokarwadi dam. We went till Wadeshwar village having 4-5 stops for photos. Bendewadi and Khandi were 10-15kms from there.

Due to time limit and Indrayani river was about to overflow on bridge, we had to start our return journey.

At the end, I would say we need to take care of environment. I saw many people enjoying and eating food and throw their leftovers  on that place only.
